Description
Fleet Enema is a saline laxative. Saline laxatives work by drawing water into the colon which helps produce a bowel movement. This provides a soft stool mass and increased bowel action. A bowel movement should be stimulated in 1 to 5 minutes, without pain or spasm. Fleet Enema is also ideal for bowel cleansing before undergoing a rectal examination. Plus, it’s latex-free. Fleet Enema comes in a ready-to-use, disposable squeeze bottle with a soft, pre-lubricated Comfortip®.
Ingredients
Each 118ml, (delivered dose) contains 19g Monobasic Sodium Phosphate Monohydrate and 7g Dibasic Sodium Phosphate Heptahydrate. Sodium content: 4.4g per delivered dose
Contains Benzalkonium Chloride (-.06% w/w)/ EDTA (0.10% w/w) as a preservative
Directions
Adult: One bottle (118mL, delivered dose) or as directed by physician.
Children over 2 years: One-half adult dose or as directed by physician.

Cautionary Instructions
Not to be taken orally.
Should not be used when the following medical problems exist: appendicitis (or symptoms of), intestinal blockage, ulcerative colitis, ileitis, heart disease, rectal bleeding, high blood pressure, kidney disease.
