Why Voltaren Emulgel?
Voltaren Emulgel is a topical pain medicine containing diclofenac diethylamine, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that treats pain and inflammation.
Its unique formula can be applied to penetrate through the skin to deliver diclofenac, a clinically proven pain reliever, right to the source of pain. Conveniently contained in a tube so you can tackle pain wherever—and whenever—it hits.
Voltaren Emulgel has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties and has, thanks to the aqueous-alcoholic base, a soothing and cooling effect. Voltaren Emulgel is used for the external treatment of pain, inflammation, and swelling in:
- injuries of the tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints, e.g. sprains, bruises, strains or back pain after sport or accidents
- localized forms of soft tissue rheumatism such as tendinitis (tennis elbow), shoulder-hand syndrome, bursitis, periarthropathies.
- for the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis of small and medium-sized joints located close to the skin such as the finger joints or knee joints.

Precautions:
You should not use Voltaren Emulgel if:
you are allergic to diclofenac, propylene glycol, isopropyl alcohol or any of the other ingredients
you are pregnant or breastfeeding
you have ever had an asthma attack or allergic reaction after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs such as diclofenac or ibuprofen
