It is a 1.0kcal/ml, nutritionally complete and balanced powdered milkshake style oral nutritional supplement for people with, or at risk of developing, disease-related malnutrition. Ensure powder provides calories, protein & carbohydrates to help you gain or maintain a healthy weight.
Dosage: To prepare a 250ml feeding, put 200ml of cold water in a glass. Gradually add 6 level scoops (enclosed) or 55.8g of Ensure powder, while stirring and mix until dissolved. When mixed as directed, Ensure provides approximately 1kcal per ml. For flavour variety you may add standard food flavourings (chocolate, fruitnut, etc.)
Cautionary Instruction: This adult milk powder is not for parenteral use. Not intended for use in children under 4 years.
