The VacuAide QSU (Quiet Suction Unit) is designed to perform effective airways suctioning in a comfortable, safe and hygienic way.

Low noise, exceptional performance

The first thing you notice about the QSU is how quiet it is especially when compared to many other competitive devices. We think its one of the quietest available for its type. Yet the exceptional low noise does not mean that the performance has been compromised. With a suctioning pressure range from 50 - 550 mmHg delivered at 27 l/min flow rate, it is designed to most applications and meets the stringent ISO standards for field and transport use.

Simple to operate

Operating the VacuAide QSU is simplicity itself. The "one button“ operation begins the suctioning and power status.

The required pressure can be adjusted with the pressure gauge. The large easy grip adjustment gauge rotates making it easy to view and check that the pressure is set correctly.

Preventive maintenance for a suction unit, as with any medical equipment, offers several important benefits that contribute to the overall effectiveness, safety, and reliability of the equipment. Here are some key benefits of implementing a proactive preventive maintenance program for a suction unit:

  1. Reliability and Consistency: Regular maintenance helps ensure that the suction unit remains in proper working condition and consistently delivers the expected performance. This reliability is crucial in medical settings where suction is required for various procedures.
  2. Reduced Downtime: Preventive maintenance helps identify and address issues before they escalate into major problems. By proactively addressing maintenance needs, you can avoid unexpected breakdowns and minimize downtime, allowing for uninterrupted patient care.
  3. Extended Equipment Lifespan: Regular maintenance, such as cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of worn components, can significantly extend the operational lifespan of the suction unit. This can result in cost savings over time by delaying the need for costly replacements.
  4. Optimized Performance: A well-maintained suction unit operates at its optimum capacity, providing accurate vacuum levels and flow rates as specified by the manufacturer. This ensures that medical procedures are conducted effectively and efficiently.
  5. Enhanced Patient Safety: Preventive maintenance helps ensure that the suction unit functions properly and consistently, minimizing the risk of malfunctions during critical medical procedures. This contributes to patient safety and reduces the likelihood of complications.
  6. Regulatory Compliance: Many healthcare regulations and standards require medical equipment, including suction units, to undergo regular maintenance to ensure patient safety and quality of care. Following a preventive maintenance schedule helps healthcare facilities remain compliant with these standards.
  7. Cost Savings: Regular maintenance can help identify minor issues that, if left unattended, could lead to more extensive damage or equipment failure. Addressing these issues early on through preventive maintenance can save costs associated with major repairs or replacements.
